Everyone’s biggest question, what is Halcyon? [Hal-see-uhn].  Halcyon is a bird with a story in Greek Mythology.  Long story short, the Greek Gods gifted this particular bird; who lays its eggs on the coastline during winter months; a two-week period of calm winds and tranquility so its offspring can survive.

This is the vibe my salon suite has.  I want all of my clients; new and existing; to feel comfortable, calm, tranquil, at home.  There is something about receiving a quality service and also feeling like it is a second home to you.  Your hair is a huge part of who you are and I take that seriously.  My goal is to match your hair to your aesthetic and to make you feel like you are at your greatest potential when you leave my chair.  I specialize in balayage, extensions, and hair cutting!

If you are curious about me, I am a pretty unique soul.  I walk to the beat of my own drum and I tend to be the “work hard, play hard” type.  I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a workaholic but I also love my family, friends, painting, traveling, all food, and if there isn’t an amazing cocktail I will take a Sauvignon Blanc.  I am obsessed with my chihuahua, Bea, and being an aunt.  I am super clumsy but a perfectionist when it comes to my art. I was born and raised in the Philadelphia area, been here ever since, and I am not going anywhere.  I would love to meet you, make all of your hair dreams come true and create a long-lasting relationship!
